It’s been three years and my friends are still homeless. Relief funds barely touching the financial ruin Sandy caused. Many have never even seen a dime.
It’s been three years and countless towns, such as Fortescue, still hasn’t been rebuilt all the way. Buildings are still standing with missing roofs and yellow Caution tape. But why rebuild those small towns? It’s not like they matter, right? It’s not like it’s Atlantic City, right?
It’s been three years and people have forgot there’s more to South Jersey than the boardwalk.
